This is the entry point to the LBBS pathway. Many clients on The Basics upgrade to Essentials within 6–12 months as their business scales and complexity grows. That's exactly how it should work.

If you have employees, you'll need our Essentials or Growth package. The Basics doesn't include payroll runs or tax filing.

The Basics is bookkeeping only. You don't get a quarterly call or monthly Loom video. You get accurate books, fortnightly reconciliation, and email support.
Proactive strategic guidance
This package doesn't include sitting down to discuss profit strategy, cashflow planning, or pricing decisions. That's what Essentials and Growth are for.

Kickoff Call

We jump on a call, review your current books, understand your business structure, and answer any questions.

Xero Setup

If you need it, we set up Xero or migrate you from another system. If you're already set up, we review your chart of accounts and optimize.

Cleanup (if needed)

If your books are messy, we'll clean them up first fixing misclassified transactions, reconciling old accounts, getting you to a clean starting point.

Monthly Routine

You send us your documents or we access your accounts. We reconcile, prepare reports, and send you a clean set of financials by the 5th of each month.

Absolutely. Most Essential clients upgrade to Growth within 6–18 months as their business grows. There's no lock-in, no penalty. When you're ready for more payroll, video walkthroughs, strategic guidance you just let us know and we move you to Growth. The upgrade is seamless.
That's fine. We'll do a bookkeeping cleanup first going back through your records, fixing misclassified transactions, reconciling old accounts, and getting you to a clean starting point. The cleanup usually takes 4–8 weeks depending on how many years back we need to go. Once you're clean, your Essential package starts fresh. It's an investment upfront, but it's the only way to get real clarity.
Starting from $450 means that's our base price for a simple business with straightforward books. Depending on how complex your business is — number of transactions, bank accounts, invoicing complexity — your price might be higher. We'll give you a clear fixed quote before you start. No surprises.
